Recognizing the significance of biotechnology industry development for Taiwan's future, Century Development Co., Ltd.(CDC), a major developer of industrial parks in Taiwan, has played a crucial role in promoting high-tech industry development in collaboration with the government. The CDC company, along with its subsidiaries including Century Biotech Development Company (CBDC)、Century Tech. C&M Corporation, Jie Zheng Property Management, and United Development, offers comprehensive industrial real estate development and consulting services encompassing investment, design, construction, and property management.



Notably, CDC successfully created the highly valuable Nangang Software Park, has attracted over 400 domestic and international companies to join in. In 2018, the company's chairman, Mr. Huang Mao-Xiong, established Century Biotech Development Co., Ltd. specifically to cater to the biotechnology industry. The company has gathered high-tech talents and a professional management team to promote the international cooperation and facilitate nationwide development of biotechnology industry. It strategies to replicate the success of the Nangang Software Park and to create a core engine for Taiwan's biotechnology industry cluster.



In collaboration with the Taipei City Government, the company embarked on the creation of the Taipei BioInnovation Park (TBIP) in 2018. This Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) development project involves constructing a biotechnology building spanning nearly approximately 92,000 square meters (~28,000 ping), designed to accommodate research, trial production, and commercial offices. The initiative aims to meet important indicators such as innovation research, talent cultivation, and international cooperation. This project is anticipated to generate over 3,000 job opportunities, achieve an annual output value of NT$50 billion, stimulate the local economy, and promote metropolitan prosperity.
